Snapshots From Our Vacation~ Pt. 1

This year we were blessed to be able to take a family vacation; the first one in seven years!

Sunrise in Georgia.

We left our home in Florida at 4 AM, and drove straight through to Grandmother and PaPa's in Kentucky, arriving there around 5:30.

 We played lots of cornhole.  It was great fun!  This game is always a family favorite.

Everyone wanted to be on PaPa's team, as he is the defending champion.

(Actually, come to think of it, he's been on that program for 21 years now.)

A family vacation tradition:  doughnuts from Pastry Plus, a small doughnut shop in Louisville.

Cousin Hannah's Wedding...

The wedding was held at the Apiary, a beautiful facility in Lexington.

We enjoyed exploring the gardens, which were filled with herbs and vegetables.  They were tastefully laid out, and were a lovely example of what can be done to make common plants beautiful.
